SAM STEELE DAYS: Chair - Steve Stockwood
Our flagship event, the Sam Steele Ball Tournament, is scheduled to coincide with Sam Steele Days from June 19th - 21st, 2009. Sam Steele Days is a local festival which celebrates the region's history and good ol' family fun. JCI Kootenay plans all aspects of the Sam Steele Ball Tournament, from the concession and beer garden to the play draw. BRITISH COLUMBIA PROVINCIAL ELECTION ALL-CANDIDATES FORUM: Chair - Cameron Bell
With the Provincial Election called on April 14th, JCI Kootenay has stepped up to sponsor and plan the East Kootenay Riding's All Candidates Forum. The Forum takes place on May 2nd at the College of the Rockies Auditorium. Contact Cam Bell to find out more!
SANTA CLAUS PARADE: Chair - TBA
Christmas in the Rockies and JCI Kootenay team up to start off the Holiday season with Santa! The Parade is Cranbrook's official start to the season with the downtown light up and holiday cheer helping make the season bright. 2009's parade date is to be announced - stay tuned!
